PGA Professionals Jody Hawkins and Michelle Beecroft entered into the PGA in 1993 as the first two lady professionals in the state of Victoria. Michelle and Jody are truly dedicated in improving their clients golfing skills, and enjoy seeing people of all ages take up this great game.

After Jody completed her traineeship at Kooringal Golf Club she set off to Asia and the USA to play on the tour. After a couple of years playing, Jody settled in Florence, Alabama where she was the head teaching Professional at Blackberry Trail Golf Course. Seven years later she returned to Melbourne and became Director of Teaching at the Growling Frog.

After Michelle completed her Traineeship at the National Golf Club on the Mornington Peninsula, she took a job as the head Professional at Oakley golf course; during this time she developed a passion for teaching. Michelle then devoted herself as a fulltime teaching Professional at the Melbourne Golf Academy. Over the last ten years she has become the Victoria state coach and a national speaker for the PGA on many occasions.
